Vicovation Opia2 launched in Australia in June 2016.
Vicovation newly designed 2K Ultra-HD 1440p HDR Dashcam Opia2 is arriving in May.
It’s equipped with the latest generation High-end Ambarella A12 processor and a 4 megapixels CMOS sensor. Recording resolution and video quality on the Opia 2 is absolutely the best yet from Vicovation. This is the first camera from Vicovation to utilise the new Ambarella A12 processor. The A12 promises to deliver much better all round day and night video performance.
Opia2 also carries over all of the solid build quality, design and features found on the rest of the Vicovation Marcus range. It uses the same shell and is the same size as the Marcus 2 and 4. It also uses the same size 2 inch LCD screen. It utilises a 6G glass lens for clarity, has 160 degree viewing angle and maintains the GPS mouse module as an optional extra. Opia2 will also support up to 128gb memory card to increase recording times before overwriting. Running a super capacitor and an official operating temperature of up to 75 degress Celsius this camera is ideal for Australia’s extreme weather conditions.
Mated with the optional Vico-Power PLUS, you can get 24/7 protection for your car. Opia2 features the brand new upgraded 2.0 Full Auto Smart Parking Surveillance (SPS). You can now not only monitor the activities automatically around your car while parked via “Motion Detection” mode, but also switch to Time-lapse Video mode.
With the new Ambarella A12 processor, Vico-Opia2 should deliver footage that’s sharper, richer and more detailed. Combined with new features like the upgraded Smart Parking Surveillance and Time-Lapse Video, Vico-Opia2 is the most advanced and highest-performing VicoVation dash camera released to date.
Recording resolution on Vico-Opia2 goes up to 2K Ultra-HD 1440p HDR (2560×1440 HDR). Image quality has been increased by almost twice the resolution of 1080p
